How Cryotherapy Works

During a cryotherapy treatment, the CryoIQ emits a fine jet of liquid nitrogen or nitrous oxide directly onto the lesion. This reduces the temperature of the tissue to as low as -89°C, causing ice crystals to form inside the skin cells. As the cells freeze, they are destroyed, and the body naturally heals the treated area.

Depending on the skin condition, the freezing cycle may last between 5 and 30 seconds. For deeper skin lesions, multiple freeze-thaw cycles may be needed. Following cryotherapy, a small blister or scab may form, which typically heals within days as the skin regenerates, revealing clearer, smoother skin underneath.

Cryotherapy Treatment

At Parkview Lasercare, we provide advanced cryotherapy treatment for safe and effective removal of skin tags, milia, sun damage, warts, actinic keratoses, and age spots.

This minimally invasive spot removal treatment uses liquid nitrogen or nitrous oxide to freeze and destroy abnormal tissue, allowing the body to naturally replace it with healthy skin cells.

Our medical-grade CryoIQ devices are safe, effective and treat skin lesions with millimeter precision. Treatment with a CryoIQ device is affordable, fast, and with no discomfort or destruction of surrounding healthy tissue.
